Hessle Rambling Club serving Hull, Hessle, Anlaby, Willerby and Cottingham areas.

We are a friendly rambling club, usually walking around 8-10 miles, with generally shorter alternative walks of around 5-7 miles for anyone not wanting to engage on the longer one. 

Our walks are generally on the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of each month. We venture to West, North and East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Durham.

The locations for the coach pick ups are the bus stop at Cottingham Square, followed by the bus stop adjacent to Sainsbury's in Willerby, the bus stop adjacent to Bella Rosa restaurant Anlaby and Hessle Square, outside Costa Coffee, returning to the same pick up points at around 6pm to 7pm. 

A day out on the coach costs £15 each, including new members attending for the first and subsequent times, irrespective of the walk location, and is collected enroute, or by bank transfer prior to the walk date. Members usually give the coach driver a tip in recognition of his safe driving and helpfulness. 

The annual subscription is £25, this being paid at the start of our financial year in August, but we allow three visits for any new member to establish whether they wish to join us before payment of the subscription is required. The annual subscription is gradually reduced throughout the year, this being dependant upon the date a member wishes to join. 

Our walks are all risk assessed by our leaders prior to the event taking place, to ensure as near as possible, that any obstructions or variations to the route, can be safely managed. 

We are a club with a constitution and have rules to make our walks as safe and enjoyable as possible, for all those who take part. We have third-party liability insurance to guard against any claims.
