We are a friendly rambling club with a membership of around 60, usually walking around 8-10 miles, with generally shorter alternative walks of around 5-7 miles for anyone not wanting to engage on the longer one.

Our walks are generally on the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of each month. We venture to West, North and East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Durham.

The locations for the coach pick ups are outside Hull Truck Theatre (Ferensway), Springbank West (Derringham Bank), then Hessle Square, outside Santi's restaurant, Anlaby, the Hop Pole Inn , Kingston Road, Willerby and Willerby Square, returning to the same pick up points at around 6pm to 7pm.

We endeavour to book numbers on the coach to prevent overcrowding and possible disappointments.

A day out on the coach costs £12 and is collected enroute

The annual subscription is £25, this being paid at the start of our financial year in August, but we allow three visits for any new member to establish whether they wish to join us. The annual subscription is gradually reduced throughout the year, this being dependant upon the date a member wishes to join. We have a few places available for membership having had several of our colleagues retire recently. Maintaining the present enjoyable nature of the club is always a priority when assessing future members.

Our walks are all risk assessed by our leaders prior to the event taking place, to ensure as near as possible, that any obstructions or variations to the route, can be safely managed.

We are a club with a constitution and have rules to make our walks as safe and enjoyable as possible, for all those who take part. We have third-party liability insurance to guard against any claims.

A membership application form is included wiithin the website and can be completed, then submitted to the committee.

Feel free to contact us, by our e-mail form on the "contact us" page, by telephone to our committee members if you have any queries, or by filling in the application form on the website and submitting it.
